Cohiba
Robusto Supremos Lim. Ed. 2014 Single Cigar
The immense diameter gives the masterfully aged wrapper and filler blend room to breathe, softening any aggressive heat and emphasizing a highly complex balance of sweetness and volcanic earth.
First Third: The smoke opens with an imposing, fragrant profile of toasted hazelnut, raw cocoa, and sweet natural vanilla, backed by a subtle hint of grassy freshness on the retrohale.
Second Third: The intensity builds beautifully into a creamier texture, bringing dominant notes of black coffee, dark chocolate, and a rich, honeyed sweetness to the forefront.
Final Third: It concludes with a powerful, savory finish, leaving behind long-lasting elements of deep earth, heavy leather, and a warm, lingering cedar spice.
