Pipe Tobacco Rattray´S British Collection Old Gowrie
A cornerstone of Charles Rattray’s classic Scottish lineup, Old Gowrie is an iconic Virginia-based blend revered globally by pure tobacco purists. Crafted from a refined selection of high-grade Red Virginias, dark Cavendish-processed Virginia leaf, and a subtle touch of St. James Parish Perique, it undergoes hot-pressing to deepen its natural sweetness before being partially rubbed out. Unflavored and un-cased, it relies entirely on traditional heat fermentation to yield a rich, naturally sweet, and slightly spicy bowl with exceptional aging potential.

Aromas open with dark dried figs, baked red apple, fresh hay, and light malted barley, expanding on the palate into toasted graham cracker, rich plum, earthy oak, subtle perique spice, and dark molasses, before concluding with a long, satisfying finish of clean, natural Virginia sweetness.
